Goodwick Lass
My twenty eight year old horse ‘Goodwick Lass’ suffered for a considerable time with an abscess on her lower jaw. It would weep constantly and smell awful.
We tried everything the vet could recommend and spent a fortune, but nothing seemed to work. Goodwick didn’t seem in too much discomfort so the vet did not believe operating would be an option taking into consideration age etc.
We thought we would try an alternative approach. Lisa came for regular visits and Goodwick seemed genuinely delighted to see her. Each time Lisa would not only concentrate on the area of the abscess but also treat other areas of her body.
Goodwick was totally relaxed. As the abscess was treated her head would drop and she appeared to be in an extremely docile state. For a highly strung Anglo Arab this was quite a rare sight.
When Lisa worked on her back legs, which has been getting stiffer over time, Goodwick would respond by relaxing the leg Lisa was working on and lifting it slightly.
Her movement improved a lot but the biggest difference was that of the abscess. The weeping wound wept very little and the hole seemed to close. It was drier, smaller and didn’t smell any more. Lisa greatly improved Goodwick’s health and well-being. Her treatments were the only things to work for Goodwick and I can’t thank Lisa enough for all her help in making Goodwick’s life better. Paws
Paws is a 6 year old male cat who has been seeing Lisa-maria for around 7 months. He has had a rought life with his health from a hernia to having to have aball joint removed in his back leg as he had no socket, from an eating disorder (which in a stomach biopsy was revealed that he only has half the intestine of normal cats) to an abscess in his ear and fungal infection in his paws.
We first heard about Lisa-Maria through the vets and I was actually quite amazed that this sort of thing exists for animals. Paws, understandably, is not the friendliest cat so I thought it would be ideal for him.
When we first started seeing Lisa-Maria Paws was not eating properly and still had problems with his ears. He also did not like being touched much, only selected few had. At first we had to actually put a quilt over him so that the healing could be performed. Gradually he walked away from this and let Lisa-Maria heal him without it as the trust built up. He also started eating and now has some flesh on him (we had previously tried many things). Paws also trusts her to the extent that she is the only one besides immediate family who has managed to hold him and walk around with him! He also during healing will tell Lisa-Maria where to go during healing and where he wants her to stay.
He has since, with the help of his vet (who I am sure he does love), homeopathic medicine and the healing come a long way. The healing has definitely helped with his ears as they are now cleaner when checked and he is on no medication for this now. His eating sometimes is still up and down but he likes to have a good munch after healing.
He looks forward to it and will not even run if he is told he is going to see his aunty! He has also now let most people in the vets stroke him and I am sure that he will soon purr for Lisa. We are very thankful to Lisa-Maria as we can see the results on Paws and I would definitely say it is worth doing. [Asha]
Bingo
Bingo was very ill for a long time. He was unable to keep food inside him which resulted in him not wanting to eat. He lost lots of weight and although our vet did all the relevant tests nothing came to light as to what was causing his food intolerence.
We were told that it may be a form of cancer, but unless he was operated on we couldn’t be sure. We didn’t want to put him through an op at his age – 13. Medication worked for a while, but then seemed to have no effect.
We were making the decision to euthanise him because he was so weak and fed up with life. Then we contacted Lisa and immediately things changed and he has returned to his normal cheeky self, and has put back the weight he lost. [Janet and Jennie]
Tiny

I want to inform clients of Animal Ark of the benefits that healing by Lisa-Maria Forbes is having on my rescued dog Tiny. (who at one point was going to be re-named ‘Damion’!). Say no more!!
Tiny is a Yorkshire Terrier, aged four, with ongoing health problems. His behaviour was becoming beyond my understanding or capabilities. I telephoned Animal Ark in tears at the end of the line with him. I did not want him. I just could not cope with him. He was a liability having already bitten: the postman, an innocent workman outside my property, a man who happened to walk too close to him with a walking stick – plus myself. He wouldn’t even let me get into my own bed one night! I was advised of a demonstration of ‘healing’ by Lisa-Maria – it was suggested that it may help.
Well, there has been no looking back. I still have Tiny. I would have hated to give up on him. He had had such a bad life, prior to my re-homing him last April. But I was absolutely desperate.
The change in him is remarkable but gradual. It just doesn’t happen overnight. There are stories to tell about his healing along the way which if I hadn’t see with my own eyes – I just would not have believed!! Ask poor Nathan about the time he unfortunately interrupted Tiny\s healing! We still have a long way to go; however we have turned the corner.
A sincere thank you to Animal Ark for being such an ‘open minded’ practice.
I have discovered that conventional healing and holistic healing, ‘combined’ can and indeed do benefit your pet’s healing process. [Mrs Francis]
